Dine for Life 2013 – A tale of two cities

Two thousand and thirteen has been an exciting time for Dine for Life, who will launch their inaugural event in Melbourne on November 25th. The renowned Perth event which is now in its fourth consecutive will follow on November 27th .

Across two major Australian cities, with the support of 30 incedible restaurants, Dine for Life is seeking to raise $80,000 for the Somaly Mam Foundation a not-for-profit organisation, named after the woman who founded it. They are dedicated to supporting anti-trafficking efforts in Southeast Asia, empowering survivors and engaging governments, corporations and individuals to end slavery.

Dine for Life is gathering recognition and praise for its socially conscious approach enhancing the experience of dining. The November dinners will unite the finest of Perth and Melbourne’s food and wine industries in the name of charity, including George Calombaris of Press Club Projects in Melbourne, and Neil Perry’s Rockpool Bar & Grill in Perth.

EGAMI excitedly joins Perth and Melbourne’s business communities in supporting this event for another year as the event and brand management sponsor. Through this event, the ‘act local – think global’ approach continues to gain momentum within the Australian community and will hopefully continue to do so into the future.
