Dine for Life Summer Event 2010

event-page-header

Dine for Life’s second event, the Summer Dinner, was a great success, raising $19,500 for the Samaritans Crisis Line. 130 people came together to support dining with a conscience, by enjoying fine wine and food in the name of charity.

Marking the start of Perth’s party season was the surprise after party held at Malt Supper Club. Launching only a few days before the event Dine for Life was thrilled to celebrate the close of the Summer Dinner at such a fantastic venue. Over 200 guests rubbed shoulders with a fashionable crowd, which included fashion designer Aurelio Costarella, 6PR’s Tony McManus, footy stars Byron Schammer and Paul Hasleby, former American Idol contestant Michael Johns and last year’s MasterChef contestant Josh Catalano.

The EGAMI team were very excited to see their hard work come into fruition and are already in preparation for the next Dine for Life event in April 2011.

“We are so happy that we were able to surpass our original goal of raising $15,000 for the Samaritans. We really engaged our diners to think about how they could make a difference in the lives of others and their positive response was overwhelming- this is exactly what Dine for Life is about,” Natasha Di Ciano.
