MEDIA RELEASE: Ladies – Step Up In Style!

Ladies – Step Up In Style!

February 1, 2010

Another New Year’s resolution? Toss out the old image and bring in the new! You only have a few seconds to project a positive image so make the most of it.

The start of the New Year sees many women resolve to improve their image and achieve new aspirations personally or in their career and a unique event to be held in Perth this month aims to help them do just that.

Style and Confidence 2010, to be held aboard the luxury launch Moonlight Express on Sunday February 21, will see some of Perth’s leading advisors in branding, style and recruitment share tips and tools for professional presentation in an interactive workshop setting.

Presented by EGAMI and co‐presented by West Australian Sub‐Editor Lee‐Anne Petchell from the West Australian this event aims to re‐define how women are perceived in the workplace and empower attendees to define their own brand.

Executive style consultant and renowned recruitment specialist Natasha Di Ciano of EGAMI believes image is the forgotten art of success and how women present themselves in the competitive professional environment can have a profound impact on their career and self progression.

At the heart of Ms Di Ciano’s philosophy on professional imaging are confidence, self steem and leaving a lasting impression and it’s these values that she espouses through her executive image coaching.

Style and Confidence 2010 is Ms Di Ciano’s opportunity to make her personal and career coaching strategies accessible to a larger group of women in a fun and informal setting. “In setting their goals for the New Year it’s time for professional women to assess the image they portrayed in 2009 and ask themselves if that image is aligned with where they want to be in 2010,”

Ms Di Ciano says. “Imagine the possibilities if you could understand how to control and influence the perception others have of you. Style and Confidence is about complimenting your natural abilities and personality with the essential elements of a holistic professional image to take you where you want to go”.

Ms Di Ciano is excited to launch this event with career development, master hair stylist and achievement coach Rachel Walker and personal make‐up stylist Andjelka Matic, with each presenting an interactive session on the day.

Attendees at the event will learn how to develop a personal brand that will create an impact, project the right image to their peers and express a more powerful and persuasive image.

The informative and inspiring event is a great opportunity to enjoy a cruise on Perth’s waterways while networking and sharing the experience with like‐minded professional women in a relaxed and luxurious environment.

Tickets are $279 and include all hospitality as well as workshop materials. Tickets can be purchased online through or for further information email or call 1300 202 209.
